The Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat are generally open for viewing from 7 am to 7 pm daily, and also from 8 pm to midnight on full moon nights.
Best time to visit is between November to March when the temperature comes down, and you won’t get burnt.
Properties of marble that distinguish it from other similar types of rock include the pink and white color, the medium size grains that are observable with the naked eye; the granular texture, and the hardness of marble.
Bhedaghat is the only site where Marble, Phyllite, BIF, Quartzite of the Mahakoshal group of Proterozoic age rocks have been recorded togeather.
